PARIS HIDDEN GEMS
Moonshiner: A Hidden Speakeasy
Image from moonshinerbar.fr
This past week, I had the pleasure of visiting Moonshiner with friends, a secret speakeasy tucked away in the 11th arrondissement. The entrance is cleverly concealed behind a door in a pizza shop, adding to its mysterious allure. Once inside, we were greeted by lovely staff and treated to an array of fun, creative cocktails. The bar's 1920s-inspired decor and intimate atmosphere make it a perfect spot for a unique Parisian night out.
Moonshiner offers an extensive selection of whiskeys and craft cocktails, ensuring there's something to suit every taste. Remember to keep your voice down as you enter through the pizzeria – it's all part of the speakeasy experience!

FRENCH SONG OF THE WEEK
Jacqueline Taïeb - Le coeur au bout des doigts
This week, I'm excited to share a gem from the vibrant 1960s French pop scene: Jacqueline Taïeb's "Le coeur au bout des doigts." This track captures the essence of youthful exuberance and the carefree spirit of the era, with Taïeb's distinctive voice delivering lyrics that are both playful and introspective. A perfect blend of catchy melodies and lyrical charm, this song is a must-listen for anyone who appreciates the timeless allure of yé-yé music.
